VTG VENINI MUSHROOM MURANO FOR LAUREL GLASS LAMP MCM WHITE SWIRL OPAQUE 60s 70s

This is a Small and Rare Mid Century Modern Venini blown glass lamp. GLASS: The glass is attractive with or without the light on. Importantly, the type of ambient lighting that you get will depend on the kind of bulb you use. Bulb size is a standard USA household light socket in the base. A few pictures have a 40w WHITE bulb to show a Full Moon White light effect. On a few other pictures, you can see the different lighting affects when I changed the bulb to a CLEAR iridized, flame-point bulb. Striations in blown glass are revealed when the light is turned on. When the lamp is not on, the glass is an Opaque White. Many possibilities for UTILITY of this lamp due to size and because it is single piece of white, blown glass. It is a small, bulbous lamp that will go anywhere and compliment larger / other MCM lamps and decor. MEASUREMENTS: HEIGHT is 9 TALL Top down to Table surface.

MOUTH is 4-1/4" across opening top and has a 13" circumference. Widest part AROUND the MUSHROOM RIM is 25 circumference. ROUND BALL BASE is 15 circumference ball. Bulb is inserted at the top down to the socket base.

It has the on/off line switch on a white cord. CONDITION: There are no issues with the glass or the electrical. Works perfectly; ball base stands straight on table.
