Vintage Lamps Fenton Blue Coin Dot Pair Opalescent Glass Electric Working Table. For your consideration is this vintage pair of working Fenton Blue, Opalescent Glass Coin Dot Dresser Lamps. The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded by the Fenton brothers in 1905 at Martins Ferry, Ohio. Known for their creation of "Carnival Glass" and the famous "Hobnail" pattern, Fenton first introduced its classic Coin Dot line in 1947. This pair is from the late 1940's to the 1950's.
Our Mother bought them at a rural antique show about forty years ago. The metal base of each lamp has the marking, "C & S, N Y" and the number "555". The measurements for each lamp (with lampshades on) are 16" high, and 10 1/4" wide. The lamp itself (without bulb or shade) is 12" high and 4" wide.
Lampshades are 6 1/2 tall. Shade top is 4" wide and the shade bottom is 10 1/4" wide. Each cord is 4 feet long. We have included them for display purposes, but the inside plastic cones are now brittle with age.We recommend they be replaced, for safety concerns. The weight of this box is 9 pounds. The box size is 31" tall x 14" width & depth. We have stopped listing any more large vintage or antique items, as these costs make them no longer viable for sale. Local pick-up is also available.
