An original FRANKART Double Lady Accent Lamp circa 1920s-30s. New York, New York, produced nude dancing lady lamps, ashtrays, and other decorative Art Deco items in the 1920s and 1930s. Nice example appearing to be the original paint with a nice crisp signature - unlike a lot of other lamp signatures that are barely readable because of multiple repaints.
The lamp is decorated with two seductive nude figures lifting glass globe shade. It is properly signed FRANKART INC. We do highly recommend as with all used electrical items that electrical components be inspected by a qualified person before use. The cord looks to have been replaced, but with old plug end. The screws for the shade are all there with proper original rivets. The switch has end has been replaced by a screw nut and can be cumbersome to turn it on. 12.5" tall Without Globe and aprox 20" (with globe) x 4 7/8 base. The lamp is in excellent antique condition with no mentionable issues other than lite age and use related wear (nicks & paint loss expected with age). And you may decide to have the switch replaced. Nice piece from the Art Deco Period! Shade/globe: Frosted Excellent Condition for age - No cracks, no chips on shade viewable but the normal flea bites rough edges edge hard to see around rim. 9" high x 6" width x 3 8/8 lip. Described as a Modernistic multi-faceted Skyscraper Shade. (Heavy/Awkward items may take another day). This drastically will cut back delays in the system & resolve questions more quickly.
