Antique 1900s Pittsburgh Co. Iridesc. Stained Slag Glass Art Nouveau Table Lamp
For sale here is a GORGEOUS antique 1900s Art Nouveau style iridescent slag glass table lamp made by the Pittsburgh Lamp Co. This lamp is large and heavy high quality made. It uses iridescent slag glass which has a WONDERFUL quality and flames orange at the brightest light area that shows through the glass. The base looks very original and the finishes match perfectly but I don't know for sure if it is all 100& original The sockets are old large brass sockets from the 1910s -20s. The shade glass holding tabs don't appear to ever have been moved so I believe the glass is all original but one pane is cracked with a small diamond piece missing. I show a close up of this in the last photo.
I do have a glassmaker from Ill. He does an excellent job of matching glass, even iridescent slag. I would give you his info or work to get the panel replaced if you are interested. I have rewired this lamp using high quality gold cloth lamp with.
The pull chain sockets work perfectly. This lamp measures 23" tall x 16" in diameter. It is gorgeous lit or unlit and would make a wonderful antique lighting decoration in any home!
