American Original stained glass shade on Antique Nouveau lamps Base. 16 inch diameter peacock feather shade.
Would be willing to sell SHADE only. Shade signed, base not signed. The last picture in the collage shows the shade on another antique base , if you like that traditional Tiffany Studio look message me to work out that option. Its bronze with the three spider arms has a wheel & cap like the Tiffany studio. I had this shade also on a Tiffany studio stick base & various bases & it displayed well for me on all. There is one picture close-up of the aperture where you can see the arms below, I took that one picture when I had it on a Greek urn base. On this base the patina matches & accents some of the hues & textures on the shade, it has original Bryant double socket, rod and nut bolt also antique, inside the sockets Bryant original red brass. Sits heavy & firm, appears in the iron family & stands about 22 high. The Peacock feather shade is 16 inches in diameter of exquisite quality , to my knowledge made by Jenny Henley Palmer, I hear a very well respected artist in the stained glass community, humble student teacher, artist, iconic in her work, many public records show commissions from Paul Crist Studio, this one a personally signed piece from her work in 1994 as it is indicated on the signature tag. The condition is very good with perfect structure, one area of stress with some streamers shown in photos , A collage posted with arrows to point it out, does not preclude, no open glass.
