1920s ART NOUVEAU PIANO LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE

This 1920s Art Nouveau desk lamp is made of very heavy cast metal (lamp base & shade frame) with a brass'corduroy' tubular arm and cast brass adjusting knuckles at each end of the arm. The two slag glass panels for the shade are white with pale honey streaks.

The slag glass is new and in excellent condition. The lamp has been restored in bronze & natural brass. Brass was cleaned, hand polished & lightly sprayed with a brass protector.

As shown, the lamp stands 14 1/2 tall, 9 at the widest and extends 12.. The oval base is 8 by 5 1/2. Original pull chain socket is rewired with a new repro wall plug and gold cloth covered cord. It weighs 7 1/8 lbs.
